Boarding

We have three separate climate controlled wards to house pets. Pets are placed in indoor runs for exercise and we also have 2 outdoor exercise areas for dogs to enjoy while they’re in our care. We feed Hills Science Diet food or your pets personal food brought by you. We welcome any small personal items to keep your pet company.

Boarding at Penn Animal Hospital is provided as a service to our veterinary clientele. A pre-boarding examination and a negative fecal sample are required if your pet is new to us or has not been to our hospital in the past 6 months. We also require dogs, cats and ferrets to be current on distemper and rabies vaccinations. Dogs are also required to be vaccinated against Bordetella (kennel cough) and Canine Influenza.

Your pets are cared for under veterinary technician supervision and the veterinarian is notified immediately if necessary.
